Lindsey Bocanegra was born in Houston, TX and raised in DFW for the majority of her life. Lindsey studied sports medicine in high school and kinesiology in college before graduating from Sanford Brown with a degree in cardiovascular sonography. Lindsey’s passion is for sports medicine as well as raising her beautiful children in the world of sports, health, and wellness. When she’s not working or with her kids, you can find her at a 311 concert or Dallas Stars game for fun!
Dr. Cody Newman is a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic who grew up in the Plano/Frisco area playing football, basketball, and baseball for his high school where he suffered a career ending spinal injury. After the traditional medical system failed to help him and living with constant pain for years, he sought a different path in Chiropractic. It is here where he found not only what would help him heal but what would change his life forever. Not only was his pain eliminated, but his strength and overall function improved immensely! Dr. Cody had always wanted to help people, and now he knew what form that would take.
Dr. Cody works with athletes of all levels from the local high school and club teams to professional teams like the Frisco RoughRiders. He had the privilege of being the head chiropractor for Navarro College Athletics in Corsicana, TX. He worked with the Football, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, and Cheerleading Teams and was apart of the medical team for Navarro Cheer’s 2018 NCA Grand National Championship.
Dr. Cody stays abreast with the newest research and continues to learn as much as he can in order to give his patients the best quality care possible. He has extensive training in sports recovery, manual myofascial technique, and exercise therapy. He hosts lectures and health talks to give back to his patients as education is a high value to him and he believes it is our most powerful tool. Another high value for Dr. Cody is family. He believes a healthy family grows together and stays together longer and healthy children grow into healthy adults. He believes all children should have their spines examined to help them in becoming the healthiest humans possible!
Dr. Cody attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in May 2013. He then went on to attend Parker University in Dallas, TX where he graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Chiropractic in December 2016.
Dr. Cody married his high school sweetheart Elizabeth in June 2015 and they share two fun-loving boys Liam and Weston.
